Legion Ventures is a community-driven venture capital initiative helping blockchain startups make confident first steps. Legion OTC is the platform that powers it: a web-based trading venue for upcoming digital assets, giving newly launched projects crowdfund-style early investment — and giving investors a process that's transparent and secure from start to finish. Graffino built the frontend, the backend, and the Solidity smart contracts underneath.
The client
Early-stage investment in blockchain projects used to happen in a digital wild west: unsafe, unsecured, unregulated — deals done on trust between strangers, with no tooling worthy of the money involved. Legion Ventures wanted the opposite: an easy, transparent, secure process from start to finish, for both the organizations raising and the investors backing them, with all the necessary tools in one place.
The bet was that private, early investment could feel as orderly as trading listed stocks — if someone built it that way.
The friction
The design answer came from respect for what already works: study the established stock-trading platforms, take their proven principles — and then simplify them further, so anyone can understand the flow and start investing without worries.
"Learned from the best trading platforms — then made the intricacies disappear."
What we built
Built on established trading principles, then simplified — a design flow that makes trading intuitive for first-timers without dumbing it down for pros.
Purpose-built for the OTC model: project listings, investment flows and settlement states all served from one coherent platform.
Blockchain development as an integral part of the build — secure transactions enforced on-chain, not promised off-chain.
Newly launched blockchain projects raise from their future community — early, transparent, and within a structured process.
Both sides — organizations and investors — see the same process from start to finish, replacing the old model's blind spots.
What was once handled manually between strangers now flows through the platform: automation, flow and secure transactions by default.

Unprecedented trading freedom for investors; structured, confident first steps for the projects they back.
For investors
Safe but unrestricted entry into the dynamic world of upcoming digital assets.
For projects
Crowdfund-type early backing inside a structured, trustworthy process.
For the model
An unsafe business model replaced by automation, flow and secure transactions — for everyone involved.
Why it matters
Legion OTC's numbers tell a simple story: when an unregulated, intimidating corner of finance gets real structure — proven trading principles, contract-enforced security, an interface ordinary people can use — participation follows. Thirty-plus funded projects and nine thousand users didn't show up for the technology; they showed up for the confidence it created.
The pattern travels. Any emerging asset class or informal market waiting for its first serious platform — and there's always one — rewards the team that builds trust into the product itself.
Sitting on a market that still runs on handshakes?
We build trading and investment platforms end to end — interface, backend, and the smart contracts that make trust automatic.
